Police News

Kent PoliceThurnham Monthly Parish Magazine/website  Thurnham’s current PACT Priority is still nuisance vehicles along Crismill Lane due to the number of reports we are still getting when the weather is nice.We attended the last Parish Council meeting where we provided a crime update and PACT update; we are pleased to report no real issues were bought to our attention at this meeting.We will continue with sporadic speed checks throughout the area.  

Community Engagement Day will be on Monday 16th August 2010, we will park up in Detling Village hall between 10.30 – 12.30 and again at the potted garden centre between 13.30am – 15.00pm. We will park the mobile police station up and give the residents an opportunity to come and have a discussion with us about PACT and crime updates. We will also be offering crime reduction packs and we will bring the bike marking kit. So if you have any bikes or scooters that you would like us to mark up for you please come along with your items. Please note this will be an engraving of your postcode into the equipment so if for any reason any of your items are found anywhere we would know who to return them to.

Next PACT and crime update will be Monday 20th September at the Thurnham Parish Council meeting.
